Biography (in english)
A child of the Khmer Rouge civil war, Remissa MAK went through refugee camps as a child in the pain of families torn apart.
In 1993, when Société Editions du Mékong created the French-language magazine Le Mekong, followed by the daily Cambodge Soir in 1995, Remissa offered his services to the team of journalists, and his success was immediate. The first post-war press photographer, he was later taken on by the Phnom Penh Post newspaper.
In the 2000s, he became a photographer in his own right, and his reputation as an artist grew both nationally and internationally.

Enfant de la guerre civile des Khmers Rouges, Remissa MAK est passé par les camps de refugiés pour enfants dans la douleur des familles déchirées.
En 1993, lorsque la Société Editions du Mékong crée le magazine francophone Le Mekong puis le quotidien Cambodge Soir en 1995, Remissa propose ses sercices à l'équipe de journalistes et son succès est immédiat. Premier photographe de presse de l'après guerre, il est ensuite repris par le journal Phnom Penh Post.
Dans les années 2000, il devient un Photographe à part entière et sa renommée artiste devient nationale et internationale.
