THANG Sothea was born in Kompong Cham Province, Cambodia, in 1983. He is a self-taught artist who began to paint in 2009. He graduated from Norton University with a Bachelor Degree of Architecture and Urban Planning and worked in an architectural agency in Phnom Penh from 2007-2010. In parallel with his artistic activities, he continues to work freelance on architectural projects. In 2011, he opened his own studio-gallery in Phnom Penh, Top Art Gallery.

THANG Sothea est né dans la province de Kompong Cham, Cambodge en 1983. Artiste autodidacte, il a commencé à peindre en 2009. Diplômé de Norton University (Licence d’Architecture et de Planification Urbaine), il travaillait précédemment dans un cabinet d’architecte à Phnom Penh (2007-2010). En parallèle à ses activités artistiques, il continue à travailler en free-lance sur des projets architecturaux. En 2011, il a ouvert sa propre galerie/atelier à Phnom Penh, Top Art.
